Pvt Thomas D. O'Callahan graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. He was employed as a plumber at the Eli Lilly & Co.He enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 30 January 1943.
His brother, John J. O'Callahan, served in a medical detachment with the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment and was killed on 6 June 1944. He is buried at Normandy American Cemetery.
