Pfc Kenneth L. Felton attended high school for 4 years and was a driver before he joined the National Guard in Ortenville, Minnesota on 10 February 1941.

He was seriously wounded in action near Wingen, France when an artillery shell struck his company command post. He died of his wounds at 116th Evac Hospital in Sarrebourg, France.
