Pfc Alphonso Morreale attended Pittsburgh Township High School and worked for the Robert Gair Company in Piermont.He enlisted on 2 March 1943 and trained at Fort McClellan and Camp Rucker.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Saint-Juan, France.
