T/Sgt Mike Capelli enlisted in Fort George G Meade, Maryland on 25 April 1942.

He was hopelessly surrounded and finally fell dead from the bullets of a German machine pistol.

T/Sgt Capelli was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Ardennes, Belgium.
