Pvt Charles A. Sunseri graduated from South High School before he joined the U.S. Army Reserve in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on 16 August 1943. He was sent overseas in February 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Saint-Juan, France.
