Cpl James F. Stevens was employed at the Army Depot in Schenectady.He enlisted in Albany, New York on 1 February 1943 and trained at Fort Knox, Kentucky and Camp Campbell, Kentucky. He was sent overseas in September 1943.
His father also served in Europe.
Cpl Stevens was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Ittenbach, Germany.
