Lt Burrows graduated from Ogden High School and Weber College. He was a manager of the produce department of Stimmon´s market and an ammunition inspector at Ogden arsenal.He enlisted in November 1942 and was sent overseas in Octobe, 1943
He was reported wounded in action on 26 July 1944. after recovering he rejoined his unit.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
