T/5 Harold M. Sterrett enlisted on 11 July 1941. He attended high school for 4 years and was a cook before he enlisted.A half-track and three M5A1 Stuart light tanks were send out to find two trucks of B Company of the 23rd Armored Engineer Combat Battalion who were missing since the day before.
