More information

Enlisted on June 23, 1941 and completed tank mechanics at Fort Knox. He was sent overseas on Sept 23, 1943 and landed in France on June 24th, 1944. He participated in all five campaigns of the 33rd Armored Regiments - Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes- Alsace and Central Europe.
He was killed when his tank was hit by enemy bazooka fire. He was first buried in the vicinity of Breuna, Germany.
