S/Sgt Robert C. Johnson enlisted in Kalamazoo, Michigan on 23 June 1941.He worked on a farm before he enlisted. He went overseas in 1943 and was stationed in England for some time. S/Sgt Johnson received his training at Camp Hope, La. and at camps in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Solers, France.
