Cpl John F. Kennedy graduated from Holyoke High School in 1941. His hobbies included stamp collecting and the travel club. Baseball and basketball were his favorite sports. After graduating he worked at Westinghouse before he enlisted in Springfield, Massachusetts on 6 January 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.
