Pfc Elmer E. Gordon enlisted at Fort Thomas, Newport, Kentucky on 29 March 1943. He was overseas since May 1944.At the time of his death his brother John served in the Pacific Theater of Operations and his brother Chester was stationed in Baltimore. Also his sister Alice served during the war.
