Pfc Herbert E. Moore spent his life on the home farm in May Hill neighborhood and was liked by all who knew him, doing all he could for his parents, until called into service.He enlisted in Cincinnati, Ohio on 31 August 1942. He was sent overseas on 30 January 1944.
