Pvt Cyril E. Leeman attended Morse high School and was a salesman.

He enlisted in Portland, Maine on 9 November 1943.

In 1948 a new section of a road into Bath was officially named for Cyril E. Leeman by the Rev. Charles M. Tubbs, rector of Grace Episcopal Church. It’s called "Leeman Highway".
