Pvt Horace G. Webber attended high school for one year and was employed as a Machine Tender at Bird & Son Incorporated.He was one of five brothers in the service during WWII. Russell, a fleet Marine, was wounded in the Palau invasion. Preston was with the amphibious engineers in New Guinea. Kenneth was stationed in het US at the Naval Ammunition Depot, Crane Island, Indiana and Edgar, an aerial engineer served in the Italian theater.
