A/C 195 was hit by flak near the IP with #3 engine on fire. As was the right wing and A/C left formation in a spin. It was seen to split up into two parts and blew up upon hitting the ground.

1st Lt James S. Wynne was initially buried at Station Cemetery Wesermunde-Geestermunde.
