T/Sgt John M. Wilkie enlisted in New York City, New York on 9 February 1943.A/C 195 was hit by flak near the IP with #3 engine on fire. As was the right wing and A/C left formation in a spin. It was seen to split up into two parts and blew up upon hitting the ground.
