S/Sgt Loran W. Davis graduated from Ranchvale High school and Highland University in Las Vegas, New Mexico. He was an instructor at Utah State Agricultural College.He entered the Air Corps on 11 November 1943 at Clovis, New Mexico. He trained at Shepart Field, Wichita Fall, Texas; Las Vegas, Nevada and Alexandrie, La. and went to England late in August 1944.
A/C encountered severe prop wash and exploded in mid air. Plane exploded in the air and parts spread over 1.5 Miles.
