T/Sgt Kenneth S. Goldfarb graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School and attended Fordham University.

He joined the U.S. Army Reserve in New York City, New York on 5 October 1942.

The airplane was shot down by enemy fighters. Eight crewmembers were killed, one was taken prisoner. T/Sgt Goldfard died on the road between Niedermöllern and Fränkenau.

The killed crew members were initially buried in a common grave at the cemetery of Niedermöllern on 3 August 1944.
