T/Sgt Thomas Beveridge Jr. graduated from San Diego High School. He attended college and was a salesman.He joined the Air Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve at Lindberg Field, San Diego, California on 5 August 1941.
At 10:30 AM the airplane was attacked by 40 FW 190's. It was hit and a large explosion caused a huge ball of fire and smoke.
Seven crew members were killed and were initially buried at the cemetery of Neumünster on 27 May 1944.
