S/Sgt Robert F Brooks was employed at J.G. Brill Co.

At 10:30 AM the airplane was attacked by 40 FW 190's. It was hit and a large explosion caused a huge ball of fire and smoke.

Seven crew members were killed and were initially buried at the cemetery of Neumünster on 27 May 1944.
