Pfc Camillo R. Caporali graduated from McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio.He enlisted in Akron, Ohio on 10 May 1943.
He was reported wounded in action in France on 25 August 1944 and in Germany on February 1945. For these wounds he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal twice.
