Pfc Ernest E. Fink enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 21 January 1944 and received training at Camp Wheeler, Ga., and Fort Meade, Md. He had previsouly served a three-year hitch and for a time was stationed at Indiantown Gap with a heavy artillery unit. After his discharge from the Army he was employed as an interne at the Allentown State hospital. Pfc Fink had been overseas since July. He was survived by his parents and three uncles, Edwin, Roy and Harold Ritter and an aunt, Mrs. Helen Diehl.
