Pvt Milton Simms was employed by the Jacobs Aircraft Engine Company.

He enlisted in Allentown, Pennsylvania on 19 December 1942 and was sent overseas in September 1944.

Pvt Simms was reported wounded in action on 3 April 1944 caused by a shrapnel. At that time his unit was fighting north of Siegen, Germany. Pvt Simms must have been evacuated to a medical facility where he died of his wounds. The exact location is not known.
