Pfc William R. Walls Jr. enlisted in March 1943.

He attended Milford High School and was an usher at the Plaza Theatre during evenings. Prior to enlisting he had been employed at the Milford Ordinance Plant, Milford, Delaware which was destroyed in an explosion. William attended training at Fort Eustis, Virginia.
Pfc William R. Walls Jr. is remembered at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford, Kent County, Delaware.
