Iron Mountain – Pvt James M. Wellever, 20, who was reported by the War Department as missing in action in Germany since December 2, was killed on that day, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. RoyWellever, 1605 Sagola, Kingsford, were told in a telegram received.
He was one of three sons in the service. The others are S/Sgt Frank at Chrest Viek, Fla., and Glenn (Pfc) with the American forces in Luxembourg. Another brother, John was given a medical discharge.
