More information

Pfc Norman D. Shultz graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1941. He was employed by the Pratt & Read Company.

He enlisted in Hartford, Connecticut on 29 January 1943. Pfc Shultz was in the ASTP program and attended the Catholic University in Washington, D.C before being placed back into the infantry.

According to his family he died, driving his Captain, a couple weeks before the end of the war, and in an early morning fog, was not able to stop before they went down into a river; the Germans were blowing up the bridges as they retreated toward Berlin.
