Pfc John F. Hunter attended Fairview High School for one year and was employed by the Frigiaire Division on General Motors Corporation.He enlisted at Fort Thomas, Newport, Kentucky on 2 May 1944.
At the time of his death his brother George served in Belgium and his brother Edward served in the Philippines.
