Sgt Triant Radul was employed by the Ford Motor Co.

He enlisted in Detroit, Michigan on 27 June 1942. After being shipped to England, he served as a small arms instructor since November 1942.

Sgt Trian Radul was awarded the Soldiers' Medal for disposing of a live hand grenade that was accidentally dropped in a sandbag bulwark among a group of soldiers.
