Max H. Bussear enlisted on 1 December 1942 and was sent overseas on 11 September 1944.Sgt Bussear was wounded in action by an artillery blast, east of Geilenkirchen, Germany on 18 November 1944 and died on 19 November 1944 in Heerlen, The Netherlands.
He was buried in a temporary grave at Margraten on the day of his death. After being disinterred and after the cemetery was given a permanent status, he was given his final resting place on 27 January 1949.
