Sgt Earl T. Brown Jr. graduated from Quincy High School and attended Texas A. and M. where he completed his first year in engineering.He enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 25 May 1943 and was enrolled in the ASTP program at Fordham University for six months. When the program closed, he was transferred to the infantry.
