Pfc Bruce B. Narten graduated from Shaker Heights High School and was a chemist.He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 31 August 1943. He was selected for the Army Specialized Training Program (A.S.T.P.) and studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology.
Pfc Narten was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Limey, France.
