Pfc William C. Cooper was a carrier for the Atlanta Journal News.He enlisted at Fort McPherson Atlanta, Georgia on 20 March 1942 and was sent overseas in August 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
His brothers Raiford and Winston also served during the war.
