Pvt Patrick A. Sorrentino graduated from Vocational High School in 1942.He enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 19 May 1943.
He was killed in the German counterattack conducted by the 111th Panzer Grenadiers of the 11th Panzer Division through the Mortagne Forest and Hill 484 to the west of Grandvillers.
