More information
Pfc Alexander Kulesza enlisted on 30 October 1943 at New York City, New York.He was temporarily interred in the American Military Cemetery of Ardennes, Belgium because his family requested he could be buried in Poland. Since negotiations with the Polish government were of no result and the program for the return of WW 2 dead expired on 31 December 1951, it was decided that the internment at Ardennes would be permanent.
