Pvt Warren E. Bonner graduated from Davis High School with the class of 1942. He was employed as a crane operator by the Bethlehem-Fairfield shipyards in Baltimore, Maryland.He enlisted in Clarksburg, West Virginia on 27 December 1943 and was sent overseas in June 1944.
He was drowned near Bourg, France on 4 September 1944.
He is remembered at the Flanagan Hill Cemetery in Red Creek, Tucker County, West Virginia.
