T/Sgt Alfred A. Lehmann graduated from Crane Technical High School in 1942.

On the Mission 16 August 1944, aircraft 42-109795 was hit by flak as it was leaving the target area and was forced to feather the 3 and 4 engines. The pilot radioed to the formation that he was heading for Sweden. He reported that he had a gas leak in addition to the feathered engines. The aircraft was under control when it left the formation for Sweden. Hit by flak.
