1st Lt Arthur Acevedo attended college and was a pattern and model maker before he volunteered for the Army of the United States in Los Angeles, California on 10 April 1942.Multiple bombers were shot down by German fighters on the return flight, including this airplane. It went down at about 13:15 hrs.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Solers, France.
