Sgt Glenmore Powers attended high school for 1 year and was a driver before he enlisted in Utica, New York on 25 March 1943.

J. Paslak:
Died in WWII in Germany while on night watch. Shot by a sniper. A friend of his who was with him at the time said he was talking to him when it happened. Anyway the friend got the sniper.
