Pfc Carl R. Lenoch attended high school for 4 years and was a locomotive fireman before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 27 July 1943.He was sent overseas in January 1944 and was reported wounded on 15 August 1944 in the invasion of Southern France.
