Pfc Victor Carucci enlisted in February 1942. He was sent overseas in May 1943.He saw actionin North Africa, Sicily and during the siege of Cassino. He spent 110 consecutive days on the front lines and was taken prisoner during the 'Battle of the Caves' in Anzio, Italy.
Pfc Carucci died in Stalag II-B.
