Pvt Norman B. Anderson was employed at the New Brighton Defense plant.He enlisted at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on 26 February 1944. He trained at Camp Wolters, Texas and Fort Meade, Maryland. He was in service only 17 weeks when he left the USA. Before going to France, he spent 6 weeks in England.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
