Sgt Charles W. Lamb was a carpenter before he enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 3 February 1942.He took part in the invasions of Sicily, Italy and Southern France.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
