Pfc Robert R. Exline Jr. graduated from Pasco High School in 1941 and attended Washington State College where he was active in music circles. He was selected for the ASTP program and attended Rhode Island State for specialized training.He enlisted in Spokane, Washington on 11 March 1943.
He is remembered at the Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.
