Pfc Jack Clolinger graduated from Murphy High School and was a college student when he enlisted at Fort McClellan, Alabama on 1 July 1943.He was reported wounded in action when F Company was engaged in the fighting in the vicinity of Marburg, Germany.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Solers, France.
