Pfc Walter R. Staggs attended high school for four years and was employed by Hulman & Company.He enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 4 January 1943 and was sent overseas in the fall of 1944.
Pfc Staggs was first buried at the Temporary Netherlands American Cemetery, Holland on Block M, Row 3, Grave 62.
