Pfc Kenneth Plummer enlisted on 26 October 1943 at Camp Dodge Herrold, Iowa. He was killed in action with the 1st Army in Belgium, according to a notification received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Plummer, 19 South Nineteenth Street.
Pfc Plummer attended Thomas Jefferson High School and prior to entering the service was employed by the Watson Brothers Transport company in Omaha. He received his basic training at Camp Roberts, Calif.
