Pfc Stevenson D. Jenkins enlisted in Little Rock, Arkansas on 18 November 1943.He received his basic training at Camp Fannin, Texas and had further training at Camp Breckenridge, Kentucky, Camp Butner, North Carolina and Camp Atterbury, Indiana, from which point he left for an eastern port of embarkation, the later part of October 1944, arriving in England in November. Almost immediately he landed in France, going on to the Belgium front with his unit.
He was killed by small arms fire in the head.
