Joe Geyer was a welder before he enlisted in Tulsa, Oklahoma on 27 November 1943.His remains were recovered, probably in 1960. He was given his final resting place at the San Francisco National Cemetery on 16 January 1961. A rosette has been placed next to his name at the Tablets of the Missing at Ardennes Cemetery.
