S/Sgt Daniel H. Mc Innis enlisted in Hartford, Connecticut, on 6 June 1942.On this mission, a great deal of enemy opposition was encountered (over 100 enemy aircraft), causing 10 aircraft of his unit to be lost.
Four crew members survived and were taken prisoner; six men were killed.
